The area of the former Public Slaughter House in Lugano consists of a group of buildings organized orthogonally, almost symmetrically, within a wall. Of particular architectural interest is the main block of three buildings connected by two impressive, high spaces.
The buildings have different conditions of quality and maintenance.
The project analyzes each building separately and lives possibility for further transformations in a dynamic process.
The surrounding wall in maintained, and completed, in order to accentuate the citadel character of the complex.
